General

Do you do home visits?
Unfortunately, we do not provide home visits.

Do you treat ear infections?
Unfortunately not, no. An ear infection will usually improve after three days but can last for a week. There’s not much that can improve the condition other than pain killers and rest. The NHS covers this in more detail on their website.

Do you carry out ear hair removal?
Unfortunately, we cannot help with ear hair.

Will you tell my GP if you find a problem with my ears or hearing?
No, we do not require a referral to see you, nor will we be in contact with your GP after your appointment with us.

Can I book an appointment for somebody else?
Yes, certainly. You can book for someone else and also be present in the same room during the appointment if you wish. Visit the Contact page to call or send a message.

Do you offer an aftercare service?
Yes, there is a check-up after one year to make sure that your hearing aids are working as expected, but you can also visit any time for adjustments along the way.

What should I do if I have hearing loss?
There could be a few reasons that you’re experiencing a loss of hearing, so it’s important to either see your GP or pop in to see us by booking an appointment on our Contact page.

Hearing Aids

Do you provide replacement batteries for hearing aids?
Yes, we do. Some manufacturers may need to do this for you if they’re not easily changed.

Do you offer insurance for hearing aids
Unfortunately, we do not offer insurance but most home insurance providers will accept hearing aids on to their policy.

What happens if I lose or damage my hearing aids?
If you have declared the hearing aids with your home insurance provider then they may be able to help if you lose or damage them. We may be able to send the hearing aids back to the manufacturer to be repaired for you depending on the extent of the damage.

My hearing aid isn’t working, can you help
Certainly. Our Help page may be able to answer your question, or you can reach us from the Contact page for advice. Should we need to look at the hearing aids, then we ask that you drop them in and a clinician will advise if they require the manufacturer for repair.

Do you offer an aftercare service?
Yes, we do offer an aftercare service. Please reach out from the Contact page for further information.
