Symptoms
An Audiologist will ask about any symptoms you’re experiencing to paint a better picture before the examination begins.
Examination
An otoscope (powerful magnifying glass) will be used to look inside your ear to see if there are any visible signs of blockages or other issues that are contributing to your discomfort. Both the ear canal and ear drum will be examined.
Next steps
Once the Audiologist has all of the information, they will explain why you are experiencing an issue and the best course of action. However, there’s no obligation to book further appointments.
If you have a blockage or hearing issue, then you’re already in the right place with ear wax removal, hearing aids and more under one roof.
If you need a full hearing test or ear wax removal, the price of this Ear Check-up will be deducted, making this a free service.
"I have used their hearing services a couple of times over the years. Most recently I received help with hearing loss following a middle ear infection. Stephanie was extremely helpful, reassuring and knowledgeable. She provided me with clear guidance on next steps and ensured to follow up with me. He recommendations enabled me to get medical treatment to begin resolving this and to go on my planned holiday, avoiding barotrauma whilst flying. Her service was exceptional and I have no hesitation recommending her and Clifton Audiology." ~Sarah O'Neill
